The server is running hardcore and we are currently running the "RUSH" game type. We will likely be running a variety of different game types before settling on one. Or it is entirely possible we will run a few different game types for the foreseeable future. At any rate, we look forward to you joining us in our TS server and on the battlefield! See ya there!

|tb| Tactical Brotherhood is pleased to announce the opening of a new United Offensive Base Assault only server.  Our old match server has been converted to provide some "nostalgic fun" on a few favorite BAS maps.  The rotation includes: Broadsword, Barbarossa, Tuchola Forest, Gun Assault, Town Assault, Ardennes, Smolensk, Lazur, Kursk, Ponyri, and Italy!  Great maps all.  Right now the server is running a stock configuration but that will likely change soon!  The IP is 69.162.110.183 so come on out and play some BAS!

Recently, we have been discussing some changes that have become necessary. Tonight it is my pleasure to announce the outcome of the discussions we've been having at the HQ level.

VLAD has asked to be removed as the Team Leader for Alpha considering his crazy work schedule recently. It is therefore my pleasure to announce the promotion of halfotter to =L5= and Team Leader of Advanced Training Team Alpha. Congrats half!! (VLAD has agreed to stay on a an =L4= with Alpha)

It is also my pleasure to announce that ShootingDoc is being promoted to =L4= and will serve as an Assistant Team Leader to Scottomatic with the Traning & Intake Team. Congrats Doc!

I am also pleased to announce that Blunt_Trauma is also being promoted to =L4= and will henceforth serve as an Assistant Team Leader of the Transition Team under the direct supervision of DiYaDiK. Congrats to you too BT!

Finally, It is with great honor and distinction that I announce, on behalf of the HQ division that a new position has been created within our very ranks. With the massive work that has gone largely unnoticed --- and with the direct promise of MUCH MORE to come --- it is my distinct pleasure to announce the creation of the position of Mod Development Coordinator. |tb| Tactical Brotherhood announced today that our second public server would be closed immediately.  It will become the NEW Training & Match server for the clan.  The server will feature the Brothers Realism Mod (BRM) as our upcoming competitive efforts will be in leagues/ladders using this mod.  This server will have 24 slots.

The PUBLIC server will be 69.162.110.182:28960 and will feature the ability to change on the fly to any one of several configurations (Bolts ONLY; ALL Weapons; Pistols ONLY; Shotties & Bazookas ONLY).  It still features the OpenWarfare Mod which is the "home mod" of |tb|.

|tb| Tactical Brotherhood has made a change to TeamSpeak as a primary voice communication tool effective today.  Unfortunately, there are still some bugs to work out with the GSC program we have been using so until such time as the program is more "bug-free" we have made the decision to make this switch.  Please note the server information on this page as we still invite our friends and public players to join us in TS.  

GSC will remain as our in-game chat program for the time-being so feel free to download it still to communicate with us.  The link remains in the right column of this page.  Thanks.

With the release of the 1.2 patch for Call of Duty: World at War, |tb| Tactical Brotherhood announces the beginning of moving to a total custom setup on our servers.  We are currently running two (2) custom maps plus the new Makin Day map in our rotation.  As soon as more good multi-player maps are released we will be putting them on the servers as well.

As was true of our stock maps we've run on our server, |tb| has all new custom placements on the new maps too with the desire of making ALL of our server maps play more tactically.  So come check us out and join us!

|tb| Tactical Brotherhood announces the opening of a new server and an expansion of our very popular BOLT RIFLES only server!

The BOLT RIFLES only server has been expanded from 16 to 24 slots effective a couple of days ago.  It continues to run as an unranked and modded (OpenWarfare) server.  Already the server has been nearly full on several occasions.  We look forward to seeing you there too!

The NEW server replaces our other 30 man ALL WEAPONS server and has the same setup (30 slots, OpenWarfare mod running ranked) but has been switched to a new IP.  That server IP is 8.18.92.51:28960.  Feel free to come join us when you see us in there!

The final bit of server news comes in the form of the announcement that our very first server for CoD4 has been decommissioned.  It is sad to see as it was our first server and helped us to attract lots of folks that put |tb| Tactical Brotherhood on the map in the TR world.  It is now a part of our history.  Thanks for the many of you that came and enjoyed that unique |tb| style of play there.  We are so pleased that we have been able to translate that same style of play on our new servers.

|tb| Tactical Brotherhood announces the opening of two brand new game servers as of this date!

The first --- [tb.II] --- is a dedicated "Training Server" for training events and functions.  It is a private server that is always locked for use by |tb| members and invited guests only.

The second new server (our third) --- [tb.III] --- is a 16-slot Call of Duty: World at War server.  For the time-being we are doing just a 16-slot server until we determine our future direction.  We are hopeful that we will soon have a OpenWarfare "Lite" version of a mod on the server to tide us over until the mod tools are released.  The OW development team is hard at work on getting it done by this weekend even!  The server IP is: 8.12.22.131:28960.  Come join us for some WWII fun!

Popeye & Chopper have taken on the responsibility of leadership for the Training & Intake (T&I) Team.  For the foreseeable future they will lead all new applicants through the initial stage of their training program with |tb|.  A hearty thank you to both of them!

It was decided that |tb| Tactical Brotherhood would expand it's servers beyond our current and popular CoD4 public server.  Beginning soon, |tb| will now also operate a 10-man CoD4 training server AND a 16-man Call of Duty: World at War public server.  Information will be forthcoming as soon as we have the specific information!

|tb| Tactical Brotherhood has been extraordinarily blessed in our very short time alive!  On this day we welcomed our 20th member as either a full member or as a trainee.  We are very excited to be so solid, so quickly.  Thanks to all of our new guys and thanks to our great community for helping to make our server a popular "hang-out".  Way to go!

CrossTrain's Great Adventure; Volume 2 (CTGAv2) is now in the record books!  A great time was had by all.  Tactical Brotherhood is so pleased with all of our friends in the TR community!  We truly appreciate the support of several clans!  The results have been tabulated and the award presentations will be announced tomorrow evening!  The races for all the awards were unbelievably close --- which you will see when they are posted!

In addition to the awards, all of the "details" of the event will be posted tomorrow.  You can expect to see the final scores for all 47 players that participated in at least one map of the event.  All the clans that were involved will receive proper recognition and two (2) Clan Awards will also be announced!  Finally all the award winners will have their feat recorded --- for posterity --- in the CTGA record book and Hall of Fame page.  Look for it tomorrow night right here at the home of Tactical Brotherhood!

Tactical Brotherhood is moving immediately to our new GSC v.2.00 Build 3001 voice server.  This new build takes care of the issue with AVG anti-virus but unfortunately AVG now "blows up" GSC v.1.00 --- which is where our other server is located.  There IS a work-around but we are just switching over now.  You can join directly from THIS link.  I will update the info in the banner above tonight.  The password is still the same and I have migrated ALL user accounts over so you should be good to go!  Oh, and the password is still: TaCt1CaL.

Tactical Brotherhood is pleased to announce the Leader Board at the halfway point of this competitive CTGAv2!   So far there have been a total of 37 players that have participated through the capture of a screen shot.  There have actually been far more but as noted in the "rules" no player is given credit unless they show in the screen shot.  At any rate, the top ten positions (actually I'll post eleven since I am not eligble for any awards) from the Leader Board looks like this:

Tactical Brotherhood was pleased to kick off the CTGAv2 this evening on our public server!  The turnout was solid and |tb| is very thankful to all that showed up!  We would particularly like to thank {BHC}; [17thAB]; & [3rdID] for turning out.  Thanks also to 1stSF/SS and [Pzg.R.3] for showing up as the map was ending.  Look forward to seeing you all back tomorrow night!

We did notice that at least one person was having difficulty staying connected with PB.  Make sure you do a manual update for your PB program.

Finally, you can keep up with all the CTGAv2 action at our special page for results.  ALL the action will be captured nightly with results being posted after the completion of play.  You can find that page here!

GSC released a new beta version (v.2.00 Build 3000) a couple of days ago and anyone downloading that will not be able to connect to our voice server as we are running a v.1.00 Build 2068 server.  So, until further notice please download the GSC v.1.00 Build 2068 still available at the link to the left.  We WILL be migrating to the new version as soon as some of the "kinks" are worked out.  Stay tuned!

The game server had a successful "grand opening" on Wednesday, September 10 with some of our great friends stopping by to "christen" our server.  So, a hearty thanks to our friends from 1stSF/SS & BHC!  You guys rock.  We look forward to more fun going forward.

Our OpenWarfare Mod has been tweaked to our liking (for the most part) although we may be making minor adjustments as we go forward.  We are currently running a 14-map rotation with THIRTEEN custom maps and just one stock (Chinatown).  Our redirect server is fully functional and blazing for almost everyone at this point!  Most are getting 500-800 kbps in downloads.  So, come on in!  You can always still download these maps from the links at right if you prefer.  You will get similar speeds here.  See you on the field!

Tactical Brotherhood proudly announces their new --- and first --- game server.  We will be running a custom setup of the popular OpenWarfare mod.  The server is currently under lock & key as we try to get it configured just right.  We will also run a full custom map rotation.  Our current maps in rotation will always be linked in the right-hand column of this page for those that prefer to download the files while out of game.  Instructions (as if anyone needs those at this point in the game!) are a couple of paragraphs below.

We are also currently working with a couple of modders extraordinaire to marry two beauties together to make our server truly unique!  When we get that completely together we will announce it here.  We expect that our server will be ready for play in the next day or so.  The IP and game tracker info is in the right-hand column.  Come join us soon!

Voice Server Info: Tactical Brotherhood is using a relatively unknown program as a voice server.  The program is called GSC and it is a total gaming client!  You may download it by clicking on the "Get GSC Here" tab at the bottom of the GSC tracker in the left column.  Think TeamSpeak and X-Fire all rolled into one.  The voice side of the program has a very solid codec at 44 KHz.  It has all functions of those programs rolled into one.  Our public players and friends are welcome!  Once you download and install GSC, the server number is 13305.  Password is TaCt1CaL.  You will need an admin to grant you voice privileges once you join (he will do that by registering you with the server).  Won't you join us now!

Game Server Info: Tactical Brotherhood will be debuting a game server in the next several days.  It has been decided that we will run the OpenWarfare mod on the server.  If you haven't yet played this mod, we believe you will fully enjoy it.  It has great flexibility for us to create our own config and make it highly customizable.  We will be determining the initial settings in the next few days.  We'll provide the IP once we have it up and ready.  We will be running custom maps almost exclusively on the server.  All of the current custom maps are linked in the right column here.  If you don't want to wait on a download server, then download them here and extract the folder for each file to your C:/Program Files/Activision/Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/usermaps/ folder.  Then you will be ready to go.  These links will stay updated as we add new maps to the rotation.  New maps will be added as they are released and as the current ones lose their flair!
